The goal of the Renown Pediatric Specialty Care renovation was to provide a fun, welcoming, and safe environment for children and their families. The existing practice provided medical service for 9 exam rooms, while the renovation expanded capacity to 29 exam rooms and added additional specialty care services for children in Northern Nevada.

OneStudio D+A,  along with Renown Health, infused bright, bold colors and playful graphics to promote a sense of connection between place and occupant. The highlight of the renovation is the interactive room which provides a way for patients to engage with the space, and the chance to relieve anxiety that children may have from visiting a medical office. The interactive room features a shooting star ceiling, color changing LEDs custom wall graphics and a ceiling mounted gaming system that projects interactive, hands-free games onto the floor.
