Since expanding a new office and production facility to Reno in 2012, CustomInk (an online T-shirt design and printing company) quickly outgrew their space and were looking for a new home. OneStudio D+A (formerly OneStudio D+A) was hired to convert an existing 2-story office building into a functional and inspiring workplace. Daylighting, comfort, and communication were priorities for CustomInk, a company that has a culture of valuing the well-being of their team members. Two large openings were created through the existing slab to create new open stairways and to provide a physical and visual connection between the  floors. The openings also maximized daylight to internal  first  floor spaces. The office also includes unique spaces like a dining cafe, game room, lounge spaces, and a variety of meeting spaces and conference rooms.
